Sanju Samson burst into form for the first time this season when he cracked an unbeaten 45 in 19 balls to lead the Chennai Super Kings to 61 without loss in the powerplay after Delhi Capitals had won the toss and put the home team into bat in their Tata IPL clash at Chepauk on Saturday.
CSK have lost their first three matches and desperately need to get off the mark in this game. Samson has so far timed the ball beautifully while partner Ruturaj Gaikwad has played himself in quietly.
CSK will be cheered to know that their explosive South African middle-order batter, Dewald Brevis, has recovered from injury and plays his first IPL game of the campaign.
