Following yet another enthralling weekend in the Betway Premiership, Orlando Pirates leapfrogged Mamelodi Sundowns to the top of the pile, while TS Galaxy extended their barren run of results.
The Buccaneers made the most of Sundowns’ absence in the Betway Premiership on Saturday, following a convincing 3-0 win against AmaZulu at the Orlando Amstel Arena.
After goals by Yanela Mbuthuma, Oswin Appollis and Relebohile Mofokeng, Pirates reclaimed top spot by two points, albeit momentarily, as the Brazilians have two games in hand at their disposal.
